Welcome to A Little Village Montessori School
Lina Dahi, a passionate and dedicated educator, is the founder of A Little Village Montessori School in Santa Clarita. At 35 years old, Lina brings a wealth of experience and love to her work with young children. Born in Thailand, Lina moved to the United States 11 years ago, bringing with her a strong foundation in values and discipline instilled in her from attending a manners school from age 5 to 14.
A Mother's Devotion
As a mother, Lina is committed to providing her daughter, born and raised in the USA, with the best possible start in life. She has chosen to raise her daughter using the Montessori method, recognizing its emphasis on individualized learning, hands-on exploration, and nurturing environment.
Pursuing Her Passion
To further her knowledge and support her daughter's education, Lina pursued Montessori training starting in 2020. When her daughter reached preschool age, Lina enrolled her in a Montessori school, witnessing firsthand the positive impact on her child's development.
A Gift for Understanding
Lina's experience and training have given her a unique understanding of each child's needs. She approaches every child with compassion, patience, and dedication, creating a supportive environment that allows children to thrive. Her ability to connect with children, including those with special needs, sets her apart as a caring and effective educator.

Ms. Andrea - Director
Ms. Andrea leads our school as Director. She holds a Professional Development credential from AMS (American Montessori Society) and is dedicated to supporting our teachers, guiding our program, and upholding the authentic Montessori approach.
Ms. Krystel - The Nest Room
Ms. Krystel cares for our youngest learners in The NEST Room (Age 6 months - 24 months old). She holds a Montessori Training: How Montessori Works certificate and brings a calm, nurturing presence that helps infants and toddlers explore safely, develop independence, and grow at their own pace.

In our home-based setting, children experience a warm, consistent, and family-like atmosphere where they feel safe, valued, and supported. We emphasize practical life skills, grace and courtesy, and emotional intelligence—helping children learn respect, responsibility, and meaningful social interaction. We also introduce children to diverse cultures around the world, fostering curiosity, respect, and appreciation for different traditions, languages, and ways of life. Our goal is to nurture the whole child by fostering independence, strong character, cultural awareness, and the confidence to navigate both school and life successfully.

Our staff members are highly trained and dedicated professionals who are passionate about working with children. They undergo rigorous background checks, hold ECE units, and are certified in CPR and First Aid. Additionally, they are Montessori-trained. To ensure continuous growth and a strong team, we hold bi-monthly meetings to support their professional development and collaboration.
